It is a weekend of extraordinary British cycling achievements. First Alex Dowsett breaking the World Hour Record, then I learn that Dave Preece (and reader of this blog) has succeeded in cycling from Lands End to John O Groats on a Penny Farthing! It took Dave 15 days.

  1. Thanks for the mention! I’m pretty worn out now, 970 miles on that machine in 15 days was not easy but I’ll never forget the feeling of finally getting to John O’groats!
