Not the hardest climb, averaging just 5% over 1 mile. But, Mott Street still has two testing ramps of 15% to break your rhythm. After an easy first 300 metres, you hit the first 15% ramp, then there is a flatish section before you face the final steep ramp, and then the final easing towards the summit. It it typical of many climbs in this area north of London. The North Road Hardriders event is held on roads a few miles West around Potters Bar and is renowned for its succession of short and steep climbs.
