Constitution hill is located in the middle of Swansea. There are usually bollards at the bottom of the climb to stop cars driving up, but it is fine for cyclists to have a go. The road surface is cobbled, but the cobbles are not too bumpy.

In 2010, Consitution hill featured in the Tour of Britain. The climb is only 300 metres long, but what it lacks in distance it makes up for in unrelenting steepness. After a short introduction, it never dips below 20% and often tops out at 25% plus. Hopefully, it will be all over in two minutes, but make sure you have the right gears for the climb.
